First impressions are apparently made within just SEVEN seconds and let’s face it, it’s more like 3 seconds these days. That means a potential employer, investor, co-worker or even life partner is judging your trustworthiness, likeability, work ethic and competency in mere moments.

A great image is an essential part of your business, whether you are a plumber, marketing executive, lawyer, personal trainer or accountant. They are a critical element in the package that is “you”. This is relevant whether you are applying for your first job, updating the company website to showcase your whole team, looking to lure investors to your start-up or entice customers to work with you.

I provide photography services for individual headshots as well as for corporate or other groups. Sessions can be photographed to match an existing style on your website or we can work together to design a look that best suits your business and industry.

INDIVIDUAL HEADSHOTS

Individual headshot sessions can be photographed in your home, office space, outdoors or a photography studio space can be hired at an additional cost. These sessions allow you to be photographed in 2-3 different “looks” with various backgrounds to offer you a suite of images to choose from. These headshot sessions usually take around 30-45 minutes.

The sessions cost $295 plus GST and include a planning session over the phone before the shoot, our time together, your private online gallery with an edited selection of images, plus your choice of TWO retouched digital images, provided as both high and low-resolution files. Additional retouched images are available for $25 plus GST.

CORPORATE GROUPS

Photoshoot sessions can also be co-ordinated for an entire office or corporate team. Sessions can also be arranged if you have a group of friends or colleagues also interested in updating their images, allowing you to create some cost synergies. We can also offer hair and make-up services to ensure everyone is camera-ready, prices available on request.

Scaled pricing for these sessions is available and the shoot can be scheduled to capture staff in the office, a studio space or even during an event such as an offsite conference.

2-5 people - $195 per person

6-10 people - $175 per person

11-20 people - $150 per person

21-40 people - $130 per person

HAIR & MAKE-UP PARTNERSHIP WITH STUDIO PETRINA MILAS

I encourage all my female clients to consider professional hair and make-up to optimise their imagery. I work in partnership with Studio Petrina Milas in Northbridge, who can also assist with wardrobe and styling advice. Petrina has over 25 years experience in the beauty and fashion industries and her studio is a tranquil oasis. Spending time with Petrina before our shoot is guaranteed to make you feel calmer, more confident and you’ll look absolutely radiant. Group styling sessions can be co-ordinated to ensure the whole team look and feel their absolute best. Bespoke Portrait Experience

A bespoke portrait experience is available for individual small business owners and senior executives wanting individual attention and looking to update your image with clothing, makeup and styling, together with refreshed images. These 3-4 hour sessions are all about you and can be held in your home or office or in Willoughby. These are priced at $895 plus GST and include:

• pre-shoot discussions with Kirsten to understand your business, style and image requirements

• pre-shoot zoom wardrobe consultation with Petrina to review outfit and accessory options for your shoot (with the option to upgrade to a home visit consultation as well as guided shopping trips if additional wardrobe items desired)

• hair, make-up and styling either in your home, office or in Willoughby

• 90-minute photoshoot in 2-3 different looks, working with Kirsten and Petrina to ensure confident and flattering posing

• editing of images and creation of a private online gallery with 40-60 images, with EIGHT retouched high-resolution images included and more available for purchase if desired

We recently worked with Karen Borg, CEO of Catholic Healthcare and 2021 candidate for Willoughby Council, who offered these words of her experience working with us:

“I was running for council with a couple of other locals for the first time and we needed to take some shots for our campaign material as well as updating my individual images. We were aiming for a look that was professional and approachable, and were a bit nervous as these photos were going to be all around our neighbourhood when the election was on. To make it more challenging, our team colour was yellow, not the easiest colour to both find and wear successfully. Kirsten and Petrina suggested we meet in advance to work out presentation, which was great. We agreed on wardrobe, hair and makeup and how the shots would look. Most importantly, Petrina recommended a shade of yellow that would be just right for me. On the day, we had a lot of fun. Petrina did her magic with hair and makeup, and then we did the shoot with Kirsten. She knew how best to set up the team photos so we all looked great together and felt very relaxed. Petrina was on hand to ensure that we stayed looking perfect in every shot. When we saw the photos a day or so later, they were all fantastic and it was hard to choose which one was best. Kirsten helped with that, gently recommending which ones would probably appeal the most to our community as well as which would work best when printed as posters or handouts. We are all really happy with the outcome and all we have to do now is wait for the election - although on the basis of how our electoral collatoral looks now, it should be much easier!”
