Thanks for stopping by. My name is Kirsten and I'm passionate about photography, and portraits are my thing.

In another life I was a corporate PR executive and political and media adviser. If only I had known all those years ago that photography was a career because you will always find me with my camera!

I remember sitting in on an annual report photo shoot years ago for a wine company in a cool, old warehouse space, with magical natural light watching the photographer and thinking - that looks like AMAZING!

I love the emotion that an image can evoke, the memories that it can elicit and the smiles that a great photo can deliver.

I am always totally honoured when people choose me for their photography and thrive on the challenge of each shoot - whether that's capturing an extended family celebrating their time together, a corporate or charity event or bribing surly teens (or corporate faces!) to smile.

It's just me and my camera and a dedication to capturing photos you'll treasure. The suppliers I work with ensure I am able to present images that are printed to perfection and presented exquisitely, creating art that will be enjoyed for generations.

I am wife to a tragic golfer and mum to three spectacular young women. We love to travel to interesting corners of the globe and my happy place is swimming in the ocean.

As of 2024, I am a Lifeline volunteer, working on the digital support team to help people facing crisis and struggling with life’s challenges.

I am a proud plasma donor - aiming for my 150th donation in mid 2025.

I love working with charities and people going out of their way to make this world a better place for those less fortunate. I am delighted to have an ongoing relationship with some incredible organisations, photographing events to promote their work, celebrate their achievements and help in their fundraising efforts.

So They Can aim to empower communities and break the poverty cycle through education. Through their work in Kenya and Tanzania, they have helped over 1,700 children and their families, building schools, orphanages, teacher's colleges and sustainable local businesses. So They Can are the very essence of "every action matters" and showcase that we CAN make a difference and that every child is important. What they have achieved just blows me away and I am truly delighted to tag along for the ride, helping in my little way. I was thrilled to bits to visit Kenya in July 2019 with my oldest daughter, Caitlin. We got to meet our sponsor child and her family and see the incredible difference being made in this community.

Want to find out a bit about me and what I do, without having to pick up the phone just yet? I get it! Make sure you pick a photographer you click with and then the whole process of photography will be fun, easy and give you all the feels.
